As a Relationship Manager within Schwab's Retirement Plan Services, you have a direct impact on the client relationship with Schwab.
Acting as the lead contact between Plan Sponsors and Schwab, you will broaden Schwab's relationships and provide best in class support.
The Relationship Manager role is responsible for leading approximately 10-15 client relationships and providing support of plan administration and client needs.
The role incorporates daily oversight and coordination of all aspects of qualified (401k, 403b) and non-qualified retirement plan recordkeeping and administration.
This includes resolution of client matters, client presentations, and sales support.
In addition, you will collaborate with business partners and work together to resolve client issues, build an exceptional client experience, and ensure client satisfaction.
What you haveRequired Qualifications 3-5 years of experience working with employer sponsored Retirement Plans3-5 years of prior Relationship Management experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceFlexibility to travel for client visits and sales presentationPreferred QualificationsASPPA, CEBS and/or NIPA designation QPA, QKA, CPC or equivalent certification/designationsUnderstanding of ERISA, industry rules and regulations, and Non-Qualified plan designProficient communication skills with the ability to influence and build consensus among team members, leadership, and clientsAbility to inspire and support those around you to challenge the status quo; effect small and large changes to continue to elevate the teams' effectiveness and level of service provided to our clientsAbility to develop and implement client strategies, retirement plan design, compliance, IRS reporting, as well as a shown understanding of mutual funds and other investmentsAbility to identify client issues that pose a risk to the firm, handle them appropriately and recommend solutions to address future issues effectivelyAbility to complete recordkeeping oversight of plans with varying level of complexitySelf-motivated, enthusiastic, take initiative and demonstrate a high degree of personal integrity, resilience, honesty, and respect for othersStrong candidates will also demonstrate confidence, accountability, influence, and teamwork with each interactionAbout the Company:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
