We are looking to hire a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.
This role is responsible for operating heavy equipment and hand tools including a chainsaw.
In addition, maintenance, cleaning, oiling, and inspecting the equipment would be expected.
Duties/Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment used for forestry projects (falling, bucking, and scattering trees) Operate hand tools (such as a chainsaw) for handwork areas Lift, carry, and hold materials, tools, and other supplies as needed Monitor any change in machine performance to identify potential malfunctions and report Perform daily machine inspection and routine greasing, oiling, and fueling Requirements Valid drivers license required Previous experience as an operator of skidsters, dozers, and excavators preferred Heavy equipment mechanical skills preferred Ability to lift up to 50lbs Job Type:
